Photobucket
Prices are really really cheap!

Photobucket
Pineapple & Bacon Pizza, $6.98
My favourite of all! Very cheesy with generous serving of bacon and pineapple!

Photobucket
Spicy Chicken, $2.88 for 3 piece
Pretty good as well, taste like pizza hut's?

Photobucket
Cheese Chicken Fillet, $7.18
Oven-baked chicken with cheese! this actually taste very so-so... couldn't really taste the cheese

Photobucket
Yannie bought all these for me from her Korea trip! thanks babe! xoxo (:

Photobucket
Really super cheap!

Went Starbucks to chill after that... dunno why i look freaking boney here... but its just photo-effect! i wished i was that skinny.

Photobucket
AE Grecian Dress
Am totally in love with this dress! the design, the cut and the colour! but i couldn't get hold of the top version of this in green :( think i'll most likely be joining BO for that.

Photobucket

Met the Happy Three Frens! Went Hey Hey Hotpot @ Pomo Centre (Selegie)!

This restaurant is opened by Terence Cao

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
U can steamboat DIM SUM! but honestly speaking, it isn't fantastic la

Photobucket
i quite like the fried stuffs though!

Photobucket
Photobucket
especially the fried banana! super yummmmmm!

Photobucket
Each pax is about $32 nett

And the crazy us still went ahead with DESSERTS after the steamboat session.. madness~ en-frostcafe is located at 2nd floor of Pomo Centre (Selegie)
PhotobucketPhotobucket
Matcha favour
I didn't think this was nice... or i could be too full to enjoy the dessert. i remember back then when i tried this similar dessert at Taiwan, it was so so much nicer!

Hongkong Trip Day 4 (Hui Lau Shan, Airport)

My last day @ Hongkong
Photobucket
Photobucket

It was independent day again! Decided to spend my time doing shopping alone on the last day to cover some areas which i wanna go again! Tai Cheong Egg Tart for breakfast!
Photobucket
Photobucket

And finally.. before i leave hongkong, had desserts @ 许留山 (Hui Lau Shan)
Photobucket
Photobucket
I ordered the drink version! HKD $20 = SGD $3.60
that's FREAKING EX man!

Photobucket
Apparrantly, this waffle thing which is known as 鸡蛋仔 is also one of the must-try in hongkong... i didn't find it fantastic though.

Photobucket
bought the famous 恒香老婆饼 back

@ HK Airport!
Photobucket

Our dinner was settled at Cafe de Coral, their famous chinese fastfood restaurant
Photobucket
Photobucket

Frankly speaking, i didn't buy a lot of things back... probably is because its more of the winter-season clothings there...
Photobucket
Before - 8.2kg

Photobucket
After - 10.9kg

So here's what make the difference of 2.7kg
Photobucket
Photobucket
I can't get enough of iPhone casing.... and they are so cheap there! about SGD $2.50 (for the rubbery ones) to $4.50 each (for the hard casing)

Photobucket
agnès b.
Majority are not for me though.... Haha

Photobucket
H&M
Very cute hello kitty hand cream. but they are not for me again :p

Photobucket
Okay so here's finally stuffs that i bought for myself
My beloved Kesalan Patharan eye concealer & other necessities which are dirt cheap

Photobucket

Yau Ma Tei is the MTR station thats closest to our hotel
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket

First stop is to Central!
Photobucket

Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Frankly, the food isn't fantastic... and it wasn't crowded as well. Really wonder why was there great review about this place... hmmm

Total Damage: HKD $333 (SGD $60). very expensive for the amount of food we ordered! Don't waste ur time here please!

Proceed to IFC Mall!
Photobucket
Photobucket

Another ATAS shopping mall.. has almost everything i must say
Photobucket

And it has the BIGGEST agnès b. store!
Photobucket

They have all the series here - Sports b., Fleuriste (Floral), DÉLICES, Le Pain Grillé, Café! think u can find everything about agnès b. here
Photobucket
U probably find me getting mad here looking at all the pretty agnès b. stuffs

Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket

Went Honeymoon Dessert!
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
a more high-end dessert place... but price is still on the affordable range

Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Durian Pancake was highly recommended here!

Photobucket
Mango and Pomelo Dessert

Photobucket
Strawberry Smoothie

Photobucket
Total Damage: HKD $82 (SGD $15). A worthwhile dessert place that u should visit other than the usual 许留山 (Hui Lau Shan).

Went Causeway Bay again... since my sis had not been there
Photobucket

And back to Times Square!
Photobucket

Was waiting for my sis to buy some things... and i end up drooling at this waffle shop! especially when they placed the nutella tub there.
Photobucket
Photobucket
PhotobucketPhotobucket
Photobucket
couldn't resist... so i bought one to try! yummy!
HKD $17 = SGD $3 (*gasp* now then i realize its sooooo exxx! lol)

Photobucket

Proceed to Tsim Sha Tsui!
Photobucket

A huge H&M shop spotted again! Sale SaLE SALESsssss!
Photobucket

Went Macau Restaurant for dinner!

Address: # G/F, 25-27 Lock Rd, Tsimhatsui (TST MTR Exit A1)
# Phone: 2366 8148

Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
PhotobucketPhotobucket
Photobucket
Red Bean Milk Tea

Photobucket
Portugese Egg Tart which is a MUST-MUST-TRY!

Photobucket
Whenever u come hongkong, one of the must-try food is roasted pigeon! Many forum recommended to go Yung Kee Restaurant... but its seriously out of the way and it was expensive! Lorraine tried both before and thought the one that macau restaurant has pretty nice roasted pigeon as well...

Photobucket
Beef Brisket Curry Rice - much raved about by Lorraine
Indeed, its very goood!

Photobucket
Fried Pork Bun
This was recommended in forums as well... the pork and bun are both nicely fried... but i feel its tad bit too dry for my likings already.

Photobucket
Photobucket

Total Damage: HKD $363 (SGD $65). Overall, the food is pretty good here... Price of the food is definitely worth the quality of food they offer here

Back to Algry Centre @ Mong Kok!
Photobucket

And my daily dosage of bubble tea in hongkong again!
Photobucket
Photobucket
Just pure warm milk tea without pearls / glass jelly... but nice!

Hongkong Trip Day 2 (Mido Cafe, Elements, Times Sq, Causeway Bay)

Okay.. Here's on my day 2 entry for the hongkong trip!
Photobucket

Photobucket
Temperature was not as cold as yesterday! pretty cool air-con temperature i must say!

On our way to Mido Cafe! This cafe was recommended in i-weekly very long ago, and it was found on the itinerary i did 2 years back. Surprisingly, even after doing some research this time round, this cafe is still one of the recommended ones... so i've decided to take the trouble to find out where this cafe is at.
Photobucket
Photobucket
Address: 63 Temple Street, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon
Tel: (+852) 2384-6402

Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
I did not teach my niece that... probably she learns it from her mum! but this pic is really classic isn't it? haha

Photobucket
snapped by my niece

So these are what we ordered!
Photobucket
Photobucket
macaroni soup - very tasty!

Photobucket
bo lo bao - which i thought its so-so only

Photobucket
sandwich

Photobucket
French Toast
super duper yummmmmmmy! give us the very homemade feel... we ordered 2x of that cos' its too hard to resist

Photobucket
Baked-curry Pork Chop rice

Total Damage: HKD $295 (about SGD $50). I thought its pretty ex as compared to the dim sum we had on our first day @ Ho Choi Seafood Restaurant. I know we should compare apple to apple... but thinking that this is actually a cafe-style, i thought the price should be much cheaper.

My family decided to go Disneyland that day.... so i'm left alone to do my own shopping for the whole day! initially i was a little uneasy to be traveling alone, but its really a very good experience and definitely more time-saving! I can accomplish more things and go more places when i'm alone! Hongkong is definitely a place where its really convenient with the MTR!
Photobucket

Photobucket

My first stop... Kowloon!
Photobucket

BB Flor was telling me about this new shopping mall call Elements @ Kowloon MTR
Photobucket
Photobucket

To be frank, the shops are too ATAS for me to shop already... LV, Gucci, Prada, Burberry, etc. etc. but i found H&M la
Photobucket

Photobucket
Think i barely spend 1 hour there.... oops

Proceed to Causeway Bay then.
Photobucket

My first stop is to Times Square because i wanna go to the agnès b. DÉLICES shop
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket

There's also Sogo @ Causeway Bay.. Can find brands like Kate Spade, Longchamp, agnès b.
Photobucket

and to shop for cheap clothings, there's island beverly as well! kinda similar to Algry Centre... but the things here are slightly more expensive
Photobucket

Along Jardine Bazaar's street, can find some nice eateries here!
Photobucket

Tai Cheong Bakery!!! again!
Photobucket
Photobucket
I bought the chinese doughnuts (HKD $5 = SGD $0.90) to try this time round... it taste like youtiao but its sweet with the sugar toppings

Lucky Dessert!
Photobucket
I know everyone must be thinking that Hongkong only has 许留山 (Hui Lau Shan), but actually when i did some homework, there are other desserts place that are well-recommended in hongkong too! Lucky dessert is one of them... and there's also Honeymoon dessert! which i went on my third day here! They are all famous for their MANGO desserts actually...

Address: G/F 532 Jaffe Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong
Tel: (+852) 2838-3066/ 2838-5166
Photobucket
Sago Dessert with Mango and Melon - HKD $26 (SGD $4.70)

I really felt like a junkie that day.... kept eating all the small bites to fill my tummy... I walked past Macau Restaurant so decided to try the much-raved about Portuguese Egg Tart! Everyone who has been here keep telling me about the egg tarts!
PhotobucketPhotobucket
HKD $7 (SGD $1.30)
The portugese egg tarts really taste very good! must-try whenever u visit hongkong! Macau Restaurant can also be found at Tsim Sha Tsui... and there are many other outlets as well!

I proceed back to Mongkok area because i wanna do crazy shopping at algry centre! Algry centre is a must-go place in hongkong for cheap and nice apparels!
Photobucket

Bubble tea time!
Photobucket
Tried Gong Cha this time round... the queue was super longgggg! This stall can be found opposite Algry centre!

Photobucket
Glass Jelly Milk Tea for me!
the milk tea is nice, but i prefer KOI's glass jelly as its smoother and softer... this seems to be on the hard side.

My dinner was at 八方雲集鍋貼水餃專門店!
PhotobucketPhotobucket
Lorraine was raving to me soooo much about the Guo-tie here! She deemed it as WORLD-BEST guo tie! Apparently, the origins is in Taiwan, but they have outlets in hongkong as well... think i should go try them when i'm in taiwan too!

Address: Yau Ma Tei, Nathan Road 575A
Photobucket
Bought the Kimchi Guo Tie!
(HKD $42 = SGD $7.60 for 10 pieces)

Yee Shun Milk Company is just found opposite our hotel area.... so we tabao-ed back to hotel to eat
Photobucket
Photobucket
Steamed milk pudding
(HKD $21 = SGD $3.80)

Hongkong Trip Day 1 (Citygate, Modern Toilet Restaurant @ Mongkok)

Finally i'm ready to blog about my hongkong trip with my family... i realize that even after much filteration, i still have about closed to about 100 photos to put up here! how tiring.... no wonder yan is telling me she don't know how should she start blogging on her Korea trip.
Photobucket
Photobucket
It was a bad start for the day as my beloved green luggage's buckle was spoilt and was forced to change to a cok-cok old luggage.. i'm so going to hunt for a nice pink luggage at chinatown soon!

Photobucket
My cute little niece with her 'trunki' luggage

Photobucket
Our flight was at freaking 6.40am in the morning! and i barely sleep for 3 hours i think?

We went Killiney Kopitiam for breakfast
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
My 'research materials' on hongkong must-eat! I'm so proud of my research!

Photobucket
iPhone is the best entertainment on flights

Photobucket
And for the kids, probably u really have to make them do all these colouring activities to kill their boredom

It was 12 degrees on our first day there!
Photobucket

Taking the bus shutter in hongkong airport!
Photobucket
My niece is the photographer! u really don't wanna take such shots when u have FAT face like us :(

Photobucket
blur.. but so cute!

Photobucket
Photobucket
i also want my child to look like my niece. haha

Photobucket
but her mum splurges on her... zara jacket, converse shoe, fox scarf!
hmmm. i think i'll probably end up doing the same thing as well :p

Photobucket
to my colleagues, don't u think the women behind me looks like Anna?

Photobucket
@ Hongkong Airport

We took the airport bus express A21 from the airport... its only HKD $33 per adult (about SGD $6)
Photobucket

This time round, stayed at City View Hotel again! its freaking near Yau Ma Tei MTR, walking distance to Mongkok area and is priced reasonably - about SGD$112 per night
Photobucket
Photobucket

The hotel room!
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket

Very clean toilet
Photobucket

With bathtub!
Photobucket
Photobucket

Full-length mirror is another plus point! haha
Photobucket

Decided to fill our starving stomachs with DIM SUMS! BB Flor was raving to me about this particular restaurant that's very near the hotel - Ho Choi Seafood Restaurant 好彩海鮮酒家

Address: City Plaza, 760 Nathan Road, Mong Kok, Hong Kong, China
Tel: +852 2398 2060

Photobucket
Location from our hotel to the restaurant

Photobucket
Photobucket
It seems that many dim sum place in hongkong requires one to take lift up... and the lift so freaking small... crowded!

Photobucket
The typical hongkong restaurant look

Photobucket
Photobucket

Photobucket
Photobucket
yar, i think my niece just cried.

Photobucket
they have got very nice porridge here! though the colour looks weird. haha

Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Custard bun is another must-try! the custard is really hot when it was served.. it simply just melts in ur mouth

Total Damage: HKD $297 (about SGD $54) for 4 adults and a child... we ordered A LOT i must say... and surprisingly it wasn't expensive at all

So our first stop is to Tung Chung MTR! Purchased the Octopus card at HKD$150 @ any MTR stations and u can get the refund last day of ur trip. This definitely save the hassle of having to buy individual trip rides for tourists.
Photobucket
Photobucket

The reason why we embarked to Tung Chung MTR station is because of City Gate outlet!
Photobucket

U will find the factory outlets of the following brands there... and many others! u can go to their website for the lists of shops they have there.
Photobucket
Kate Spade

Photobucket
Polo Ralph

Photobucket
Coach

Photobucket
Adidas

Photobucket
Quiksilver

Photobucket
Puma

And the have esprit there also! which is rather huge i must say...

Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket

Went back to Mong Kok
Photobucket

On our bridge linkway to Grand Century Place!
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket

And the reason for us to be there? Tai Cheong Bakery!

Address: shop 535 level 5 grand century place (no 193 prince edward road west mongkok kowloon)
Photobucket
Photobucket
Their Egg Tarts are the BEST in the whole wide world!

Photobucket
Photobucket
Looks simple and plain, but its really damn yummy! Its HKD $4.50 each (about SGD $0.80)

Photobucket
Definitely must give it a try when u r in hongkong. Check out their lists of outlets on their website as well!

Went to Langham Place which is found at Mong Kok area as well
Photobucket
See the H&M with the ultra huge SALE banner there? hehe

Our dinner was at Modern Toilet Restaurant @ MPM Mall!

Address: 3/F, 240-244 Portland Street,MPM (Mongkok MTR Exit C4/ E1)

Photobucket
Ootoya Special Set, 635kcal - $11++
Combination of homemade croquette & deep fried chicken with sunny side up
The croquette was gooood! the fried chicken taste like the above... though this is harder... but honestly, I will go for Tonkichi for their fried stuffs!

Photobucket
Breaded Pork Loin Cutlet with miso-flavoured sauce and half-boiled egg, 792kcal - $12++
oh no... now den i realize we ordered too much fried things! Still, like what i mentioned before, the fried stuff are quite nice here, but tonkichi ones are better!

Photobucket
Charbroiled hamburger steak with Japanese style demiglaze sauce set, 866kcal - $12++
This is quite yummmy! the red sauce was goood, similar or closed to what Ma Maison has!
