love the satin material! although the colour is soooo super bright...

Went for movie date with my colleagues after work. It was a tad bit of mad rush for everyone to die-die must leave at 6.15pm sharp at work and i'm glad we made it still!

This is it + Curry Favor @ Novena

A random saturday with mel, someone whom i know since 10 yrs back fr my sec sch band alumni... okay no photo of him, till next post then! :p

A tribute to michael jackson's death. The feelings of watching a 'concert' at a movie theatre is kinda weird to me.. Ermm.. not exactly a concert but rehearsal footage of him before his death. The dance moves, the old songs remind me of the days where i was still a child watching the Michael Jackson's concert (in laser disc) with my dad. awwww...

Mel suggested this place for dinner at Novena Square - Curry Favor!

I chose the safest curry peng option that probably wouldn't go wrong one - PORK!

Although i ordered the half-size portion, i got sooooo full when i'm only half done! Very good curry i must say, with the pork nicely fried thats not so oily... They actually have buffet here also which is pretty affordable as well!

Ambiance was good cos' it wasn't really crowded here (who goes to novena on a weekend anyway :p) Apparently they have another outlet at city hall area which mel says reservation is a must!

And we shared this. Not just normal fried fish leh.

but got CHEESEEEEEEEEEEE oozing out!

my soft spot for food that ooze out yummy fillings! especially when it comes to CHEESE. This dish shall makes me go back to them more!! *slurpsssss*

Nanbantei with Yannie (:

Ever been go Nanbantei Japanese Restaurant @ Far East Plaza? Its my first time there, and i reckon there will definitely be more!

This japanese place is known for its yakitori. and yeah, u caught me. i'm not a yakitori person... but the food here is really thumbs up!

u get to sit in front of the chef who does the cooking in front of u. but the bad thing is u might stink like u just went into a food centre

Yes, i'm getting more TANNED! which is good! at least i'm less yellow-ish. LOL

this is definitely a MUST-TRY! the tomato juice sput out like nobody's business. i'm not a tomato person, but this is really GOOD! truly not to be missed if u come here... Yan mentioned that this dish always gets OOS! voted my favourite here!

Happy Birthday Susan!

I bet u must be thinking why issit that i have soooo many birthday celebrations lately!!?? iyooo... most of my frens / colleagues' birthday falls in year-end period!! $$$$$$

I just realize this is the first time our lunch group has full attendance!

The birthday lunch for Susan was at Swensens @ Parkway Parade. PP is a happy place to go to especially when there is a need to fill us up with the weekly KOI bubble tea dosage. HEHE

Swensens food never go wrong one... anyway, we had the Executive Lunch promotion which comes with one main course + Sundae ice-cream/ sides! soooo super worth it especially so when their sundae already cost like $9?!

Lorraine's birthday celebration is never-ending! LOL but i promise u this is the last 2009 birthday 'celebration' for Lorr liao! :p

oh yar, n not forgetting its susan's too. It was full-retail-strength that day!

Birthday Lunch was at C.Nai Hong Kong Cafe @ ECP which Susan wanted to try since she has never been there.

Makes me missed HK's xu liu shan, the desserts there definitely taste 5 times better than here! can't wait to be there again in Jan! hehe

We ordered quite many dishes to share and try... i shall ranked in my order of preference then!

Flor and me had been talking and planning many places that we wanna go when OPA is back to sg! another 2 more weeks! OPA FASTER COME BACK!!! ur 2 oneeeeesan is waiting for ur arrival!

Rollerblading @ ECP

Tie-up my hair, tanks and shorts. I'm ready to moveeee!

(this girl is still single................................. :p)

Glad that we have Grace's bf (who is also our sec sch fren) to drive us to ECP... hehehe... but honestly speaking, i'm so used to traveling to the east now. N i absolutely don't mind going to ECP over the weekend again! Can't wait for my next trip there with my colleagues!

The blades are super UGLY and BULKY!
(baby flor calls them UNGLY)

i fell 3 times, once on my knee cap and twice on my butt. It is damn painful!!!! :( to think that i love to blade and even own a blade when i was in primary school, i seriously couldn't even balance well now. I will opt for cycling the next time round to ecp! hahaha.

Ah, and we really had a bad blading day... because it was raining like MAD for almost 2 hours and luckily, we were stranded at east coast food centre and not some funny lonely sheltered area. but yeah, its still VERY BAD EXPERIENCE! i felt traumatized for that moment. awww... but i really is looking forward to the next cycling session! hehehe.

Friday Night @ Timbre

I look hideous that night. We were sitting right in front of the live band and the fan was blowing at us like nobody's business. Still, i still enjoy the live band at timbre, and of course the very good pizza and chicken wings!!! :D

really damn ugly without my fringe. bwahah

We chose Roast Duck + Meat Feast pizza. Both taste damnnnnnnn good!

N noooooooooooooooooo i did not drink a single sip!

Papa was called out to dance the "nobody knows" song. HAHAHA.

really suay to be sitting beside the band man. messy hair. n still got hit with the wrong kind of attention! LOL

Reason why papa was called up to dance? There were 2 secret dedications made that day, n i got sabo-ed inside as well... not putting up any information here.. its meant to be the secret for all of us who were at timbre that day. HAHA. It was still fun that night! with the exception that i got grouchy when its close to 11pm... I'm really not suited to nightlife.
