Okay.. Here's on my day 2 entry for the hongkong trip!

Temperature was not as cold as yesterday! pretty cool air-con temperature i must say!
On our way to Mido Cafe! This cafe was recommended in i-weekly very long ago, and it was found on the itinerary i did 2 years back. Surprisingly, even after doing some research this time round, this cafe is still one of the recommended ones... so i've decided to take the trouble to find out where this cafe is at.

I did not teach my niece that... probably she learns it from her mum! but this pic is really classic isn't it? haha

snapped by my niece
So these are what we ordered!

macaroni soup - very tasty!

bo lo bao - which i thought its so-so only

sandwich

French Toast
super duper yummmmmmmy! give us the very homemade feel... we ordered 2x of that cos' its too hard to resist

Baked-curry Pork Chop rice
Total Damage: HKD $295 (about SGD $50). I thought its pretty ex as compared to the dim sum we had on our first day @ Ho Choi Seafood Restaurant. I know we should compare apple to apple... but thinking that this is actually a cafe-style, i thought the price should be much cheaper.
My family decided to go Disneyland that day.... so i'm left alone to do my own shopping for the whole day! initially i was a little uneasy to be traveling alone, but its really a very good experience and definitely more time-saving! I can accomplish more things and go more places when i'm alone! Hongkong is definitely a place where its really convenient with the MTR!

My first stop... Kowloon!

BB Flor was telling me about this new shopping mall call Elements @ Kowloon MTR

To be frank, the shops are too ATAS for me to shop already... LV, Gucci, Prada, Burberry, etc. etc. but i found H&M la

Think i barely spend 1 hour there.... oops
Proceed to Causeway Bay then.

My first stop is to Times Square because i wanna go to the agnès b. DÉLICES shop

There's also Sogo @ Causeway Bay.. Can find brands like Kate Spade, Longchamp, agnès b.

and to shop for cheap clothings, there's island beverly as well! kinda similar to Algry Centre... but the things here are slightly more expensive

Along Jardine Bazaar's street, can find some nice eateries here!

Tai Cheong Bakery!!! again!

I bought the chinese doughnuts (HKD $5 = SGD $0.90) to try this time round... it taste like youtiao but its sweet with the sugar toppings
Lucky Dessert!

I know everyone must be thinking that Hongkong only has 许留山 (Hui Lau Shan), but actually when i did some homework, there are other desserts place that are well-recommended in hongkong too! Lucky dessert is one of them... and there's also Honeymoon dessert! which i went on my third day here! They are all famous for their MANGO desserts actually...

Sago Dessert with Mango and Melon - HKD $26 (SGD $4.70)
I really felt like a junkie that day.... kept eating all the small bites to fill my tummy... I walked past Macau Restaurant so decided to try the much-raved about Portuguese Egg Tart! Everyone who has been here keep telling me about the egg tarts!

HKD $7 (SGD $1.30)
The portugese egg tarts really taste very good! must-try whenever u visit hongkong! Macau Restaurant can also be found at Tsim Sha Tsui... and there are many other outlets as well!
I proceed back to Mongkok area because i wanna do crazy shopping at algry centre! Algry centre is a must-go place in hongkong for cheap and nice apparels!

Bubble tea time!

Tried Gong Cha this time round... the queue was super longgggg! This stall can be found opposite Algry centre!

Glass Jelly Milk Tea for me!
the milk tea is nice, but i prefer KOI's glass jelly as its smoother and softer... this seems to be on the hard side.
My dinner was at 八方雲集鍋貼水餃專門店!

Lorraine was raving to me soooo much about the Guo-tie here! She deemed it as WORLD-BEST guo tie! Apparently, the origins is in Taiwan, but they have outlets in hongkong as well... think i should go try them when i'm in taiwan too!
Address: Yau Ma Tei, Nathan Road 575A

Bought the Kimchi Guo Tie!
(HKD $42 = SGD $7.60 for 10 pieces)
Yee Shun Milk Company is just found opposite our hotel area.... so we tabao-ed back to hotel to eat

Steamed milk pudding
(HKD $21 = SGD $3.80)
